JobX participants receive basic skills tutoring (reading, writing, math, etc.), assistance in completing their high school education, and coordinated support services to help them achieve their goals.

JobX helps youth, aged 16-21:Fy14 interns 009

  • Find and keep a job
  • Earn a GED or high school diploma
  • Develop a career plan and employment goals
  • Explore training and further education opportunities
  • Gain job skills through PAID internships

This program has eligibility requirements, and serves youth who are both in and out of school.

Last year, 77% of participants found jobs or further education, and 80% obtained a degree or certificate.

There were times when I felt like you went beyond the call of duty. Whether it was helping me achieve my goals or just listening to my problems, you were offering me guidance. For that, I can’t express my thanks enough.
